Workshop on prevalence and treatment of Hep B & C in Tibetan community and CCOCC refresher training underway across Tibetan settlements

Dharamshala: The Department of Health, CTA is organising a workshop on prevalence study and treatment of Hepatitis B & C in the Tibetan Community and Comprehensive Community Outreach and Coordinated Care (CCOCC) refresher training on household listing survey and field visit from 30 December 2019 to 4 January 2020.

The workshop was led by resource person Dr Lobsang Tsering and participated by 27 members comprising one doctor, Executive Secretaries and concerned staff from different Tibetan Settlements across India.

Both the workshops—on prevalence study and treatment of Hepatitis B & C in the Tibetan Community and CCOCC refresher training on household listing survey and field visit—was conducted for 3 days respectively.

The Hep B & C workshop was funded by PRM and (CCOCC) refresher training on household listing survey and field visit was funded by USAID.

The workshop will conclude on 4 January 2020.
