About CTRC
Aims & Objectives of CTRC
The basic aim and objective of the society is to promote and assist in the up-liftment of the poor, needy, backward, under privileged, handicapped and the sick within the Tibetan Community in exile and shall include to this end, without prejudice to the generality of the a foregoing.
Executives of CTRC
Executives of CTRC comprises of the Kalon (Minister), an Executive Secretary and an Additional Secretary.

Organizational Structure of CTRC consists of three Divisions under the Kalon (Minister), an Executive Secretary and an Additional Secretary.
Kalon’s message
His Holiness the Dalai Lama often says that we must hope for the best and prepare for the worst. This has been our guiding principle in seeking to make our settlements and the community as viable and sustainable as possible.
CTRC staffs
At present, Department of Home is comprised of 39 staff members in total. The Executive of CTRC is composed of a Kalon, an Executive Secretary and an Additional Secretary. The rest of the 36 staffs are divided into the three divisions.
Life in Exile
Exile is hard. A prolonged exile from one’s own land, animals, climate and all that is familiar is especially hard. We Tibetans are now raising a new generation born into exile.
