Kullu: The National Disaster Response Forces 14th unit (NDRF) in Kullu raised disaster awareness to the Tibetan community in Kullu Manali.
NDRF is part of the District Disaster Management Committee constituted along with sub-division level committees to promptly attend to the emergencies of incidents of disasters and accidents. Prompt rescue operations are organised in all cases and relief is being provided to the victims and their families hit by disasters and accidents as per the provisions of the Himachal Pradesh Disaster and Relief Manual, 2012.
Inspector Mr Sushi Sharma, unit leader and other 15 members of NDRF 14th Unit, visited Tibetan Settlement Kullu-Manali to provide awareness on how to rescue the victims of disasters and accidents.
