Shimla: The Chief Representative Office in Yangchen Gatseling Settlement, Shimla, held a brief handover ceremony for the new Chief Representative Officer (CRO) Tsultrim Dorjee and outgoing acting CRO Tenzin Nyima in the presence of official witness Thupten Choephel representing the Department of Home, CTA from 16-18 May 2022.
On 16 May, the new CRO took over office’s documents and accounts, followed by visitations to Jonang Monastery, Sangey Choeling, old age home, Rangzen Camp Settlement, Central School for Tibetans Shimla, Tridheling, Chimeling and Tashi Teng on 17 May, during which he met with administrators and representatives of the respective regions.
On the final day of the handover, the new and acting CRO exchanged seating before touring Dorje Drak Monastery, handicraft-based settlements and the Tibetan market of Shimla in the evening.
