Miao: Choephelling Tibetan Settlement Office, Miao has expressed gratitude to Shri. Somlung Mossang, Hon’ble MLA to Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh for contributing 1 lakh rupees towards Choephelling COVID-19 Task Force Team.

Settlement Officer Tenzin Chokden, along with Office Secretary Tenzin Rangdol, Camp 4 and 5 leaders Tashi Dorjee and Jigme Wangchuk, who represented the 5 camps visited the honourable MLA and expressed sincere gratitude for the contribution.

MLA Shri Somlung Mossang in turn heaped appreciation on the Choephelling COVID-19 task force for their good work since the beginning the lockdown.

Taking the opportunity, the Settlement Officer also thanked Chief Minister and Government of Arunachal Pradesh for providing all the required necessary assistance and support towards the Tibetan people.

As this year marks celebration fo Gratitude year to His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the TSO presented Hon’ble MLA a souvenir and a book “Mahatma Gandhi and His Holiness the Dalai Lama on Non Violence and Compassion” as a token of celebration.

TSO also apprised the MLA of water problem and difficulties faced by the camp leaders in managing the issue. A memorandum was submitted by camp leaders office for which honourable MLA promised to assist.
