Chief Representative Shimla pays courtesy call on HP Governor

Shimla: The Chief Representative (CTA), Shimla Ms. Tenzin Nangwa with her secretary Ms. Tsering Chozom and the President and Secretary of Local Tibetan Assembly, Shimla Mr. Tenzin Yeshi and Mr. Tenzin Palden respectively paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Shri. Bandaru Dattatreya, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh and congratulate him on successful completion of one year at his office, Raj Bawan.

The Chief Representative took the opportunity to thank the honorable governor for his continuous support towards the endeavors of Tibetan on behalf of CTA and Tibetans residing in Himachal Pradesh. She also requested His Excellency, the Governor of H.P. to help in getting reserved seats in three different medical fields as per the direction from Minister, Department of Education, CTA who has addressed the letters to the Chief Minister and other concerned ministers.

His Excellency, Shri. Bandaru Dattatreya expressed his gratitude on receiving His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s blessing last year at Dharamsala and looks forward for yet another visit soon in near future.

On this special day, the Chief Representative Office marked the celebration of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s Gratitude year in Shimla as per the direction from the CTA which starts from this day till August 2021.
