The training session commenced with the offering of butter lamp and scarf to the altar by Chief Guest Mr. Asraf Ul Hassan along with CRO Bangalore and all the settlement officers. The program started with speech by CRO Bangalore where he stressed on the importance of organic & natural farming which is very much needed to face the environmental issues from the use of chemical toxic. He also mentioned the gratefulness and the unwavering support from the Govt. of India to sustain or conserve the rich Tibetan tradition and culture. And he was very hopeful that this training will be learning experience for the settlement officers. Thereafter, we have speech by Mr. Ashraf ul Hassan primarily on the introduction on MYKAPS (Myrada Kaveri Pradeshika Samsthe).

Conclusion

The agriculture training program for settlement officers is a crucial initiative aimed to equip with awareness on agriculture and watershed management.
