Home Kalon Leaves for Official Tour to Ladakh and Southern Tibetan Settlements

Home Kalon Sonam Topgyal Khorlatsang left Dharamshala on a 12-day official tour to Ladakh and five southern Tibetan settlements from April 5th to 16th.

With the term of 15th Kashag nearing its end, Kalon embarks on a farewell tour beginning from Ladakh where he will inaugurate the new land allotted for Nomadic communities of Maque and Chusulat at Agling, then meet with the Chairman of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council and also inaugurate the newly constructed office of the Chief Representative Office of Ladakh.

At Southern Tibetan settlements, Kalon will first visit Kollegal Dhondenling Tibetan settlement and inaugurate the Sambhota Tibetan School’s newly renovated infrastructures followed by a visit to Bylakuppe to inaugurate the Organic Research and Training Center Guest House and Citrus Plantation project. At Hunsur, Kalon will inaugurate the newly constructed TSO office building and at the same time inspect the ongoing Karnataka state government funded projects.
