CTA Household Survey 2024 Update: North, South and Central Zones Kick Off

In a significant development, the Central Tibetan Administration’s (CTA) Household Listing Survey 2024 has officially kicked off, commencing its data collection efforts in the North, South, and Central zones as of yesterday.

The survey, aimed at understanding the demographics of the Tibetan community, is currently underway in these regions. Enumerators have started their work, reaching out to households to gather essential information. This marks the initial phase of a broader initiative that seeks to build a more inclusive and vibrant future for the community.

Residents in the North, South, and Central zones are encouraged to actively participate and provide their valuable insights. The success of the survey relies on the cooperation and involvement of every member of the community to ensure comprehensive data collection.

Additionally, it’s important to note that the survey will soon extend its operations to the Northeast and all other settlements, initiating data collection shortly after the commencement in the current zones.

The enumeration teams will continue their work in the North, South, and Central zones in the coming weeks, contributing to the broader goal of building a future that reflects the rich diversity, resilience, and unity of the Tibetan community.
