Tibetan Parliamentarians Ven Geshe Atong Rinchen Gyaltsen and Wangdue Dorjee had a courtesy meeting with Hon’ble MLA of BTM Layout, Bengaluru – Sh. Ramalinga Reddy at his Office and also got to meet his daughter Smt. Sowmya Reddy, MLA of Jayanagar constituency. Tibetan Parliamentarians greeted them by offering traditional scarfs and in exchange, they offered bouquets of flowers.

Tibetan Parliamentarians expressed their deep gratitude to the Government of Karnataka and its People for their consistent support to the Tibetans living in Karnataka. They briefed on the structure and formation of Tibetan Parliament in Exile and the need of raising the Tibetan movement on the National as well as the International platforms. They urged them to stand on treating Tibet as an “ Occupied Country” and not as a part of China.
