Secretary Palden Dhondup-led Tibetan Delegates Pay Courtesy Call on Karnataka’s Minister for Animal Husbandry & Sericulture

Dharamshala: A group of Tibetan delegates led by Secretary Palden Dhondup from the Department of Home, Central Tibetan Administration, paid a courtesy call on Shri K. Venkatesh, the Honourable Minister for Animal Husbandry & Sericulture, Government of Karnataka at his residence in Kamalapura (a village in Piriyapatna Taluk in Mysore District of Karnataka State) on 5 June 2023.

On behalf of the Central Tibetan Administration and Tibetan communities residing across five different talukas in Karnataka, Secretary Palden Dhondup expressed his sincere gratitude for the support and assistance from the state government. The group also greeted Shri K. Venkatesh on being elected as MLA from the Periyapatna constituency and newly assigned Minister of the Karnataka State Government.

The visiting group consists of Chief Representative Officer Jigme Tsultrim, Tibetan Settlement Officers, Chairmans and CEOs of Tibetan Co-operative Society, the President of Regional Tibetan Freedom Movement, Chair of Camp leaders and office secretaries of Lungsung Samdupling and Dekyilarso Tibetan Settlement, along with the Secretary Palden Dhondup.
