ODISHA: Mr Palden Tsering was sworn in as the new Settlement Officer of Tibetans in Odisha after a five-day long handing over process that was completed on 8 September as the new settlement took the oath. Mr Palden Tsering had previously served at the Bureau of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Delhi.

Former acting settlement officer Mr Thupten (Aeo) handed over the charges of the Settlement Office to the new Settlement Officer. Acting SO Thupten had previously assumed the charge from 21 June 2020 to 2 September 2020.
