The official handling and taking between Bandara Norgyeling Tibetan Settlement took place on 21st and 22nd of this month between the outgoing TSO Mr.Dhundup Gyalpo and new TSO Mr.Migmar Tashi.
After the completion of the quarantine period of new TSO, on 21st morning important documents, maps, moveable and immoveable assets under the custody of the Settlement officer were handed over in the presence of Home department’s representative Mr. Phuntsok Tashi, the Chairman of Tibetan cooperative society Norgyeling.
After lunch, the introduction and visits were made to TPHC, TMAI, and School, Camp no 1, tailoring Center and they also made a courtesy call to Station House Officer Shri. Sandeep ji.
22nd morning started with an exchange of TSO Chair followed by scarf offering ceremony with sweet rice and butter tea. At 10 am, the function started in the presence of settlement dignitaries without large gathering.
In the afternoon, they visited local Indian offices including Talug medical Officer (TMO) Shri. Raut and shri. Khobra gadekar Medical officer (MO), who readily assured coverage of COVID-19 vaccine to our people on equal footing. Also visited Tehsildar office and met Tehsildar Shri. Vinod Meshram.
Despite the unprecedented problems due to the pandemic, 23rd and 24th Settlement officers of Bandara Norgyeling handling & taking over concluded successfully with tea party on 22nd evening. On 23rd December, New settlement officer formally started office work and the outgoing left for Dekyi Larso Settlement.
