Following his visit to Zigar Monastery, Rewalsar (Tso-Pema) on 5th February 2023, Mandi Tibetan Settlement Officer, Tenzin Tsultem paid a courtesy visit to the Minster of Revenue, Horticulture and Tribal Development, Govt. of H. P. Shri. Jagat Singh Negi (MLA). On behalf of the Department of Home, Dharamsala, Central Tibetan Administration and settlers of Tibetan people around Mandi district, the settlement Officer congratulated him for his triumph through the Election and appointment as the Cabinet Minister. During the reception at Monastery. he thanked the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh, and the Govt. of India for their continued support and hospitality towards the Tibetan diaspora since the early 1960. Also under his guidance the settlement officer apprised him of the Tibetan Rehabilitation Policy-2014 and Himachal Pradesh Tibetan Rehabilitation Policy-2015, and also conferred with him regarding the Grant/Renewal of Land Lease at Rewalsar and Pandoh Tashiling Tibetan Settlement. We presented a petition and urged him to look after the issues and requested his assistance, to which he extended his support and assured that his office should look into these issues and do the best in the interest of Tibetans.
