Distribution of food security worth INR 142,993 made to the needy Tibetan People in the settlements

In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic lock-down, the Tibetan Settlement Offices across India, Nepal and Bhutan have distributed essential food items to the needy and poor Tibetan people under the direction of Department of Home.

Distribution of food security worth INR 27,473/- made to 13 households within the settlements

The Tibetan Settlement Offices of Sonada, Gyalpak and Shimla have distributed dry ration worth Rs.142993/- to 88 destitute families in their Settlements. Dry ration includes Rice, White flour, Dal, Tsampa, Tea bag, Milk and butter funded by the Dept of Home with an aim to resolve the problem of food accessibility among the Tibetan community owing to the pandemic lock-down.

Distribution of food security worth INR 100,520 given to 60 Tibetan households in the settlement.
Food security worth INR 15,000/- distributed to the needy and poor Tibetan within the settlement.
