Mr. Tseten Wangchuk, Chief Representative Office, Sonamling Tibetan Settlement today met Shri Umang Narula, Advisor to Honorable Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh at his Office.

Greeting the advisor, Mr. Tseten apprised about the Tibetan Settlement in Leh and Jangthang and also requested to follow-up on the implementation of Tibetan Rehabilitation Policy 2014.

Mr. Narula assured that the follow-up on facilitating schemes to Tibetan refugees as listed in Tibetan Rehabilitation Policy especially in rural development of Tibetan settlers in Jangthang is in the process. He also assured a follow-up on the Land Lease deed to Tibetan Settlers.

The meeting with Mr.Narula was successful given his assurance to look into the welfare of Tibetans in Ladakh.
