Bir: As a token of sincere gratitude and support to the government of India and especially to the government of Himachal Pradesh for the tireless efforts in coronavirus containment, on 9 April, the Tibetan community of Bir Tibetan society led by Settlement Officer and Society President made a donation of Rs 1 lakh towards CM’s Solidarity Fund and a donation of Rs 50,000 to the Kangra DC’s Solidarity fund.

The Tibetan community affirmed their full cooperation and compliance with the directions of the NITI Aayog and assured strict observance of social distancing, debuting volunteers to enforce social distancing, sanitisation and registering the entries of foreigners and others in the area.
