Tuting: The Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the 4th Tuting Local Assembly were sworn in at a brief ceremony held at Tuting Tibetan Settlement on 25 January. The ceremony also witnessed the election of 7 members to the local assembly including the Chair Sangay Dhondup and Vice-Chair Chemi Dorjee.

In accordance with the 69th provision in the Tibetan Charter, the Chief Justice Commissioner of Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission had appointed Choekyong Gonpo as a temporary local Justice Commissioner, to administer the oath to the newly elected Chairman and Vice-Chair.
