Post lock-down relaxation, efforts are made by the settlement office to act according to the quarantine guidelines issued by the state government. The stranded people arriving from red zone area are put under institutional quarantine and those coming from green and orange zone are put under home quarantine.

Food security of dry ration worth 27,473 has been distributed to 13 distressed families. The settlement’s COVID-19 response group assembled to discuss the activities needed to be carried out to contain the spread of the virus.With the help of PPE kit received from Health Department, settlement health workers along with the volunteers from the settlement have regularly made rounds to do the active screening of the settlement people but no cases have been recorded till now.  A total number of 16 emergency relief fund applicants from the settlement have received 5000 each under the provision of Home Department.
