Note on the Courtesy Visit to the Newly Appointed Liaison Officer

A courtesy visit was paid to Mr. Sidharth Babu, the newly appointed Liaison Officer (L.O.), at the Liaison Office, Dharamsala, on 19th October 2026 by Mr. Palden Dhondup, Kungoe Home Kalon.

During the meeting, Home Kalon Mr. Palden Dhondup congratulated Mr. Sidharth on his new appointment by presenting him with a white scarf (khata) and extended his best wishes for a successful tenure.

Mr. Palden Dhondup briefed him on the Department of Home, its objectives, and its role in promoting the social welfare of Tibetans settled across India, Nepal, and Bhutan. He also provided an overview of the Department’s staff strength, the responsibilities of the sections, and their respective responsibly, duties and functions.
