Rajpur Tibetan Women’s Centre

On 2 July 2026, the Rajpur Tibetan Women’s Centre conducted the official handover of management responsibilities between the outgoing Manager, Mr. Samten Chophel La, and the newly appointed Manager, Mr. Pasang Dorjee.

The handover ceremony was witnessed by the Settlement Officer of dekyiling Tibetan Settlement, Dr. Tsewang Phuntsok La, who expressed his appreciation for the dedicated service of the outgoing Manager and extended his best wishes to the new Manager as he assumed his responsibilities.

Following the handover ceremony, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held at the Rajpur Tibetan Women’s Centre Community Hall with the attendance of the Board of Directors. During the meeting, the financial status of the Rajpur Tibetan Women’s Centre was presented and reviewed. The Board discussed the Centre’s financial performance, administrative matters, and future plans to ensure the continued growth and sustainability of the organization.

The AGM also featured a public talk by the Settlement Officer, Dr. Tsewang Phuntsok La, who addressed the gathering on the importance of unity, transparency, and dedicated service to the Tibetan community. He encouraged the Board, management, staff, and community members to continue working together for the welfare and development of the Rajpur Tibetan Women’s Centre.

The programme concluded successfully in a spirit of cooperation, mutual respect, and shared commitment to strengthening the mission and future of the Rajpur Tibetan Women’s Centre.
