Dehradun Tibetan Community (Rajpur & Clementown) organized a school support programme in celebration of the 90th Birth Year of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

On 19 May 2026, members of the Local Ghoton Committee from Clementown visited Government Primary School, Asharodi and distributed school supplies such as notebooks, pens, and pencils to nearly 55 students.

Likewise, on 24 May 2026, members of the Local Ghoton Committee including RTWA representatives, visited Swami Ramtirth Kanya School, Rajpur, a school for underprivileged children. During the programme, they distributed mineral water, juice, samosas, notebooks, and plastic water bottles to approximately 110 students.

While organizing these support programmes, the committee members briefly shared the purpose of conducting such activities in honour of the 90th Birth Year celebration of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and emphasized the importance of compassion, service and support for the younger generation.
