On 20th May 2026 at 09:30 a.m., His Eminence Dzogchen Ganor Rinpoche, in the presence of monks, the Chairman of the Local Tibetan Assembly (LTA), the Settlement Officer, the President of BRDL, and other local dignitaries, inaugurated the Yumbulaghang Community Hall.
The programme commenced with prayers and the consecration ceremony of the newly constructed building. This was followed by a brief introductory speech delivered by the Tibetan Settlement Officer Mr. Kunga Jigmey, who highlighted the successful completion of the project and emphasized its significance for the community. He also expressed sincere gratitude to the Government of Arunachal Pradesh and the Central Tibetan Administration for their generous support and cooperation in successfully completing the project.
The construction of the Yumbulaghang Community Hall was co-funded by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh and the Central Tibetan Administration.
The consecration ceremony concluded with the distribution of traditional Tibetan sweet rice and butter tea to all attendees.
