On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, Smt. Sonali Sonule, Executive Engineer of the Water Resources Department for Gondia District, paid an official visit to the Bhandara Tibetan Settlement. Upon her arrival, the Local Settlement Office organized a grand and warm reception to welcome her.

During the visit, Smt. Sonule was presented with a copy of “My Land and My People”, authored by His Holiness the Great Dalai Lama, as a special token of gratitude and respect.

Furthermore, taking the opportunity of her visit, the settlement officials submitted a formal petition (appeal) to her regarding the road situated in front of the river, seeking the department’s attention and necessary action on the matter.
