Project Description & Progress:
Community hall has long served as a central gathering space for residents of TR camp 2. However, over the years, the structure had deteriorated significantly, with pressing issues such as damaged ceiling, broken flooring, and out-dated electrical wiring. Recognizing the urgent need for renovation, this project was initiated to restore the functionality and dignity of space.
The main objectives of this renovation was to ensure the safety, comfort of the community members who are using this facility and to enhance the aesthetics and durability of the hall for long term community use.
This project was implemented under the close guidance of a designated project committee led by the Tibetan settlement Officer, Mr. Kunga Jigmey and the Camp 2 committee members.
