Overview Of the Project

The retaining wall behind the Community Hall project was approved in FY 2025–2026 under TAWS. The objective of this project is to enhance safety during the rainy season by preventing the risk of rock collapse behind the hall..  Building the retaining wall is an important safety measure. It helps keep the slope stable, reduces soil movement, and stops rocks or debris from falling onto the hall. This protects both the building and the people who use it for community events and important services. The wall will also help prevent future problems like house damage or bigger landslides in the area, making the community safer for many years.

Overall, the project strengthens community resilience, enhances public safety, and ensures the continued functionality of the Community Hall during adverse weather conditions.
