Dharamshala: A delegation from the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) visited the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha on the morning of 27 November 2025 to formally extend an invitation to the Honourable Chief Minister, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. The invitation requests the Honourable Chief Minister to grace the upcoming Anniversary of the Conferment of the Nobel Peace Prize upon His Holiness the Dalai Lama as the Chief Guest. The commemoration is scheduled for 10 December 2025, marking the thirty-sixth anniversary of the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize awarded to His Holiness.

The CTA delegation was led by Cabinet Secretary Tsegyal Chukya Dranyi and Secretary of the Department of Home, Palden Dhondup, who conveyed the Administration’s respectful greetings and extended the formal invitation on behalf of the Central Tibetan Administration.

During the meeting, the representatives underscored the importance of the occasion, which honours His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s enduring and universal contributions to peace, compassion, and non-violence.
