On 20 October 2025, coinciding with the Indian festival of Deepawali, local Indian Legislative Assembly Member (MLA) Shri Raj Kumar Badole visited Bhandara Norgyeling Tibetan Settlement accompanied by his wife, children, and guests.

During the visit, the delegation toured the local monastery, the old age home, and the settlement office. The Settlement Officer Tenzin Tsangpa warmly welcomed the MLA and his family, expressing gratitude by presenting them with a souvenir gift, including His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s latest book, “Voice for the Voiceless.” In return, MLA Raj Kumar Badole assured his continued support to the settlement in the future
