In response to the severe casualties led by an Earthquake in Shigatse on 7th January, followed by another jolt in Amdo Golog on 8th January, 2025, Tibetan Settlement Office, Herbertpur hold a prayer session in solidarity with the victims of the disaster.
The session was led by the Abbot of Gongkar Tsedup Lhakhang. Tibetans all the way from Baluwala, Khera, Lakhanwala, Herbertpur & Haripur have joined in to offer prayers for the tragic loss of lives, countless injuries and loss of properties.
May the departed souls rest in peace and may they have swift rebirth in a land of freedom. We also pray for the speedy recovery to those injured.
May peace prevail on the land of snow!
