Tenzingang 30th November 2024: Northeast Tibetan Settlement Officers from four Tibetan Settlements in Arunachal Pradesh conducted a courtesy visit to Shri Pema Khandu, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh at the State Secretariat in Itanagar on 30th November 2024.
Mr. Tenzin Tsangpa, TSO of Miao Choephelling, Mr. Kunga Jigmey, TSO of Tezu Dhargyeling, Mr. Rapten Tsering, TSO of Tenzingang and Mr. Dechen Wangpo, TSO of Tuting had met Shri Pema Khandu, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh.
The Tibet Support Group of Arunachal Pradesh (TSGAP) headed by President Shri Tarh Tarak and General Secretary Shri Nima Senge was also present during the meeting with the Hon’ble Chief Minister.
Tenzingang Tibetan Settlement officer Mr. Rapten Tsering on behalf of Central Tibetan Administration and representing four Tibetan Settlements conveyed heartfelt congratulations for the overwhelming victory in the state assembly election earlier this year.
On 7th September 2024 Peace-loving people of Monpas under the Leadership of Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu offered Tenshug (Long life) to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama followed by the first 90th-year birthday celebration ceremony held at Dharamshala which was wonderful and exemplary to every Buddhist community.
Tibetan Settlement Officers submitted a memorandum to Hon’ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Shri Pema Khandu about the grievances of Settlements supported by Shri Tarh Tarak, President of Tibet Support Group of Arunachal Pradesh and General Secretary Shri Nima Senge. Hon’ble Chief Minister assured us and agreed to extend the necessary support.
Tibetan Settlement Officers jointly presented a memento to Shri Pema Khandu, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh as a memory of love and respect from Tibetan communities of Arunachal Pradesh.
