The staffs of Central Tibetan Relief Committee (Department of Home) held a solemn prayer service this afternoon in memory of Late Mr. Tsultrim Dorjee, Tibetan Settlement Officer of Kullu, who passed away on 18th November 2024
The prayer ceremony was headed by Executive Secretary Mr. Palden Dhondup along with Additional Secretaries Tenzin Norbu and Tashi Deckyi, as well as heads of sections and other staff
During this mourning prayer service, Executive Secretary Mr. Palden Dhondup shared a brief biography of Late Mr. Tsultrim Dorjee, highlighting his years of dedicated services to the Tibetan community.

Born in Nepal, Tsultrim Dorjee dedicated his life to serving the Tibetan cause through his work with the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA).
Career Timeline
- 30 January 1985: Began his career in CTA.
- 15 April 2004: Appointed Settlement Officer of Bomdila.
- 10 April 2006: Promoted to Deputy Secretary at Sonada.
- 12 December 2012: Took on responsibilities as Settlement Officer for multiple settlements, including Tashiling, Dhorpatan, Manang, Swoyambhu and Tsum
- 15 May 2020: Appointed Settlement Officer at Herbertpur.
- 16 May 2022: Appointed as the Chief Representative Officer, Shimla.
- 27 April 2023: Assumed the role of Settlement Officer at Kullu.
Late Tsultrim Dorjee will be remembered for his tireless commitment to the welfare of the Tibetan community and his decades of service in various capacities across settlements. His leadership, dedication, and kind spirit leave a lasting legacy.
