Finland: On 26 January 2024, in Helsinki, Finland was another successful day for Tibet advocacy. Sikyong Penpa Tsering and Representative Sonam Frasi were received at the Helsinki Port by Finnish TSG Chair Erja Varis. The Tibetan delegation met with government officials and parliamentarians, human rights activists, civil society organisations, academia, researchers and writers.

In response to the successful Tibet advocacy, Chinese Embassy in Estonia made an announcement on their website objecting to the visit of the Tibetan delegation headed by the Honourable Sikyong Penpa Tsering of Central Tibetan Administration. Due to the wide media coverage in Estonia about the visit of Sikyong and the hearing on Tibet at the Estonian Parliament, Honourable Sikyong and Representative Frasi were recognised by fellow passengers from Estonia on the journey from Tallinn to Helsinki.
