Mr. Tsering Dorjee, head of the Agriculture and Cooperative Section of the Department of Home under the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), officially concluded his service this week, ending a distinguished career spanning over four decades.

Mr. Dorjee retired as Joint Secretary on June 30, 2024, after 40 years of dedicated service. At the request of the administration, he continued to serve for an additional year as a contractual staff member under the CTRC, extending his tenure until July 31, 2025.

A formal handing-over ceremony took place on July 29, 2025, where Mr. Dorje transferred his duties to Mr. Tsewang Norbu, Manager of the Organic Research and Training Centre (ORTC) in the presence of Additional Secretary Mr. Jigme Tsutrim, Chief Representative Officer of Bengaluru, who represented the Department of Home.

Department of Home expresses its deep appreciation for his “dedication and selfless service” and extends best wishes for his retirement, wishing him “good health, happiness, and a meaningful life ahead.
