Project TitleReconstruction of Stone Flood Barrier and Collapsed Wall 185*6*2*1

Location: Sakya Tibetan Settlement, Puruwala

Completion Date: 16th July 2025

  1. Project Overview

Heavy rainfall on the night of September 25, 2024, resulted in significant damage to the retaining wall and bridge beam near the settlement office leaving a large hole and nearly causing the surrounding shops to fall. Furthermore, the open drainage system built inside the camp to prevent flooding was partially destroyed by the torrential rain. The project aimed to reconstruct a stone flood barrier and a collapsed wall with dimensions of 185*6*2*1 to prevent future flooding and ensure the safety of the settlement.
