Subject: Follow-up on Land Lease Issue

As a gesture of respect, Mr. Lhakpa Tsering, Chief Representative Officer (CRO) of Shimla, presented a copy of “Voice for the Voiceless,” the autobiography of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, to Dr. Harish Gajju as part of a courtesy call.

Mr. Lhakpa Tsering met with Dr. Harish Gajju, Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, to discuss the ongoing land lease issues concerning the Tibetan residents in the state.

This meeting served as an important follow-up to the recent visit by the Honorable Chief Minister, Mr. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Ji, and his delegation to the STS School on the occasion of Buddha Purnima. During that visit, Mr. Lhakpa Tsering held detailed discussions with the dignitaries on related matters.

In today’s interaction, Mr. Tsering respectfully requested an update from Dr. Gajju on the current status of the land lease issue, reiterating the concerns and perspectives of the Tibetan community.
