Bylakuppe: As per the initiative of the Lugsam Settlement Office on whose request, the Tibetan Primary Agri Credit Cooperative Society also called the Lugsam Nyamdrel led by Chair Pema Delek, Member of Tibetan parliament sponsored 8 Thermometer, 8 Oximetre and 500 kgs of bleaching powder, which were distributed to 8 camps of Lugsung Samdupling Tibetan Settlement. They also provided rations to 40 people (including 18 destitute) who are facing problem to procure it due to COVID-19 lockdown. The ration kits include 10 KG rice, 5 kg atta, 5 kg maida, 5 kg tsampa, 5 ltrs oil, 2 kg dhal, 1 salt pack, 2 lifebuoy soap and 250 gm tea powder.

The Lugsam Nyamdrel has in total contributed Rs 3 lakh to support the local Tibetan hospitals and affected families in Lugsam.

Lugsam Nyamdrel also sponsors rations to over 40 families including destitute who have been affected by the lockdown.
