1. An obituary and condolence prayer ceremony for the late Shri H. Hanumanthappa, aged 94, was held at his residence in Chitradurga on 21st July 2026, where prayers were offered for the eternal peace of his departed soul.

The prayer service was led by monks from Drepung Gomang Monastery and was attended by Mr. Jigmey Tsultrim, the Chief Representative of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), South Zone, and Mr. Tenzin Lodoe, Office Secretary of the Mundgod Tibetan Settlement. The ceremony was also attended by local representatives, including Shri Shanmukhappa, Trustee of the Chitradurga Memorial Dome Trust, Chitradurga, along with members of the bereaved family, relatives, friends, and well-wishers.

3. On behalf of Sikyong Penpa Tsering, the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), Dharamsala, and the entire Tibetan community, Mr. Jigmey Tsultrim, CRO South Zone presented an official letter of condolence to Shri H. Mohan, the eldest son of the late Shri H. Hanumanthappa, conveying heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and expressing deep appreciation for the late Shri H. Hanumanthappa’s enduring friendship, steadfast support, and unwavering solidarity with the Tibetan people.

4. The ceremony concluded with prayers for the eternal peace of the departed soul and for strength, comfort, and resilience for the bereaved family during this time of profound loss.
