On June 23, 2026, Settlement Officer Tenzin Tsangpa met with and paid his respects to the Divisional Commissioner of Nagpur, Smt. Vijayalakshmi Bidari (IAS).

During the meeting, an appeal was submitted regarding the Tibetan Rehabilitation Policy-2014, and discussions were held concerning the settlement’s land. The Commissioner gave positive assurances. As a token of gratitude, she was presented with a gift of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s authored book, My Land and My People.”
