
The inauguration ceremony for the Sushi 4th batch, Graphic Design, and the very first batch of Beverages & Mixology training programs was successfully held at 10:00 AM with great enthusiasm and participation. The event was graced by Kungo Palden, Secretary of the Department of Home, and YES+ Section Head Sonam Tashi La.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome, followed by an introduction to the Tibetan Career Centre (TCC) and an overview of the training programs by the TCC Coordinator. A total of 31 trainees attended the program, representing the different courses mentioned above.
Following the introduction, Kungo Palden La delivered an inspiring speech. He shared valuable advice and personal experiences with the trainees. He also spoke about the history and significance of the YES+ program, highlighting its impact and the importance of youth empowerment support for Tibetan youth. His words motivated the participants to make the most of the opportunities provided through these training programs.
After the speech, both Kungo Palden La and Sonam Tashi La visited the ongoing training sessions at TCC. They also inspected the TCC hostel facilities to assess the living conditions and identify any areas that may require improvement or repair.
The program concluded around 11: 20 am with a vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to Kungo Palden La and Sonam Tashi La for their visit and for making the event more meaningful and encouraging for the trainees.
Overall, the inauguration ceremony was a successful and motivating start to the training programs, setting a positive tone for the learning journey ahead.
