Dharamsala: The 117th Governing Body Meeting of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Central Tibetan Relief Committee (CTRC) was held at the Nangsi Conference Hall, Gangchen Kyishong, Dharamsala, under the chairmanship of Mr. Penpa Tsering on 2 March 2026 at 10:45 a.m.

Mrs. Tenzin Pema, Vice Chairperson; Mr. Palden Dhondup, Executive Secretary; Mr. Lobsang Tenzin, Member; Mrs. Dekyi Dolker, Member; Mr. Tenzin Namdol, Member; and Mr. Sonam Topgyal, Treasurer, were present at the meeting.

During the meeting, the Governing Body confirmed the minutes and reviewed the Action Taken Report of the previous meeting. The members approved the CTRC proposed budget for the Financial Year 2026–27 and appointed the Legal Adviser and Chartered Accountant for FY 2026–27.

The Governing Body also confirmed resolutions passed by circulation relating to staff appointments, transfers, promotions, retirements, and contract extensions for the period October–December 2026.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the Chair.
