PROJECT DESCRIPTION & PROGRESS:<\/b><\/div>\n
The community hall at Tuting Payingdem was in dire condition, experiencing water leakage from the roof during the monsoon season. In response to the need for a safe and conducive space for gatherings, meetings, and village prayers, a budget proposal of 155,600 rupees was approved for the financial year 2023-2024. However, due to the harsh monsoon conditions in the area and the logistical challenges posed by poor modes of transportation and rugged mountain terrain, the transportation of necessary materials to the site proved to be time-consuming. Despite these obstacles, the local community took the initiative to undertake the renovations themselves, as finding a specific contractor willing to work in such a remote area was challenging. Ultimately, through their dedication and effort, the project was successfully completed, ensuring the restoration of the community hall for the benefit of all residents.<\/div>\n
