PROJECT DESCRIPTION & PROGRESS:<\/b><\/div>\n
The proposal for constructing a new hall in Miao Tibetan Settlement arose from the limitations of the existing hall, which proved insufficient to accommodate the growing population of the settlements. During large gatherings, many individuals were forced to remain outside due to the hall’s limited capacity. Additionally, the deteriorating condition of the current hall, coupled with constraints on expansion due to limited available space, underscored the necessity for a new, larger, and more spacious facility for the community.<\/div>\n
With a total budget of INR 14,920,681 approved for the construction, a tender call was initiated, ultimately awarding the contract to Choepheling Tibetan Service Co-operative Society ltd (CTSCS). The contract was officially signed on 21st August, 2023, and the project was successfully completed on 31st December, 2024. The newly constructed hall is designed to meet the critical needs of the settlements, providing ample spaces for gathering and significantly improved infrastructure to support community activities.<\/div>\n
