PART B: Project Detail Implementation:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tibetan Settlement Office, Herbertpur is located in Lakhanwala, Dehradun. Recently, a harsh monsoon hit the boundary bordering offices of Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations like Tibetan Settlement Office, Local Tibetan Assembly, Regional Tibetan Freedom Movement, RTYC & RTWA. The boundary also houses staffs of Tibetan Settlement Office and TPHC.<\/p>\n

Due to Strong wind accompanied with rain, one part of boundary measuring 95 X 5 ft. fell off, making the offices and staffs vulnerable to theft and security challenges.<\/p>\n

Therefore, we needed urgent rebuilding of the boundary wall to protect the offices and the wellbeing of staffs. We are thankful that GAT approved to fund this project through Department of Home, CTA.<\/p>\n

After receiving approval for the project from Department of home, the settlement office called for contractors to submit their quotations, and the construction work was passed to Khalid Ahmed, the contractor with lowest amount.<\/p>\n

A legal agreement was signed between the contractor and Central Tibetan Relief Committee represented by the Settlement Officer, TSO Herbertpur. The project was carried under the supervision of the Settlement officer with accordance to the agreement earlier signed.<\/p>\n

PART C: Project Result:<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the completion of this project, we are assured that the staffs are more secure and relieved. The boundary rebuilding has greatly helped in securing both the lives and properties of the organization.<\/p>\n

Therefore, this office would like to thank GAT for funding this project and Department of Home for your assistance in making this possible. The maintenance of the boundary will be handled with best of care and under the responsibly of settlement office.<\/p>\n
