The Hon\u2019ble Home Kalon, Palden Dhondup, on behalf of the Kashag, paid his last respects to former Himachal Pradesh Cabinet Minister and five-time MLA Shri Vijay Singh Mankotia at his native village of Tiara in Kangra on 30 September 2026.<\/p>\n

Home Kalon attended the funeral ceremony and paid his respects to the mortal remains of the late Shri Vijay Singh Mankotia. He also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and relatives.<\/p>\n

The funeral ceremony was attended by the Hon\u2019ble Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, the Hon\u2019ble Justice Commissioner of the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission, Members of the Tibetan Par-liament-in-Exile.<\/p>\n

Shri Vijay Singh Mankotia served as a Cabinet Minister in the Himachal Pradesh Government and repre-sented the Shahpur Assembly constituency as a Member of the Legislative Assembly on five occasions. He was also a longstanding friend and well-wisher of the Tibetan people and maintained close ties with the Tibetan community over the years.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
