Additional Secretary Mrs. Tsering Youdon and dealing staff Ms. Ngawang Dolkar reached lugsum Settlement on 8th\u00a0 April , Upon their arrival at the settlement, they were accorded a warm welcome by the settlement officer of Lugsum and Delar.<\/p>\n

First, they visited the Organic Research and Training Centre (ORTC) field. There is a soil testing laboratory, which has a total of 53 soil samples. At the research centre, they conduct vanilla trial plots and cultivate various types of citrus fruits, hot peppers, yellow dragon fruit, and many varieties of avocado, along with several other crops. They also practice vermiculture and produce organic manure.<\/p>\n

There are a total of 29 cows, including 9 dairy cows. They supply milk to the settlement\u2019s Old Age Home (OPH), the retired staff quarters, and some individuals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs. Tsering Youdon visited the old age home and inspected the overall condition of the OPH. . There are a total of 31 elders and 5 staff members.<\/p>\n

Then they headed to BBCC plotting area with 11Acre .<\/p>\n
