The Shimla-based Chief Representative Officer, Mr. Lhakpa Tsering, led a delegation from the Tibetan community in Shimla to meet the Hon\u2019ble Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Kavinder Gupta.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the Chief Representative Officer formally introduced all members of the Tibetan delegation to His Excellency.<\/p>\n

As a mark of respect and gratitude, the Chief Representative Officer presented Ghoton Wall hanging, an indoor flowering plant Anthurium or Flamingo Flower along with a traditional white scarf (Khatak), and briefed His Excellency about the significance of \u201cGhoton \u2013 the Year of Compassion.\u201d Subsequently, all members of the delegation presented bouquets and Khatak to the Hon\u2019ble Governor.<\/p>\n

During the interaction, the Chief Representative Officer also submitted the urgent need for repair and maintenance of the road at Karmu Moor, Jogiwara Road, near the temple of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in Dharamshala.<\/p>\n
