The Additional Secretary of the Department of Home, Mrs. Tsering Youdon, along with South and Central dealing staff Ms. Ngawang Dolkar, were received by CRO Mr. Jigmey Tsultrim at Bangalore Airport. They then proceeded to Kollegal Dhondenling Tibetan Settlement.
\nUpon their arrival at the settlement, they were accorded a warm welcome by the heads of the settlement\u2019s organizations during the opening ceremony of the 31st Gyalyum Chenmo Cup (GCM), which was part of their official tour.<\/p>\n

On the first day of their visit, the officials inspected completed projects for the financial year 2025\u20132026, including the construction of the community hall, village drainage construction and internal roads, among others. In the afternoon, from 3:PM to 4:30 PM, they held a meeting with the settlement office staff to review administrative operations and address local concerns.<\/p>\n

At 5PM, they attended the opening ceremony of the Gyalyum Chenmo Cup, where Mrs. Tsering Youdon served as the Chief Guest and delivered a speech to the participants.<\/p>\n

On April 6, officials inspected the settlement farm along with the Agricultural Extension Officer (AEO), Mr. Jamyang la ,and the ORTC Director, Mr. Tsewang la . Later that afternoon, Mrs. Tsering Youdon met with the GCM participants, where she explained the benefits of the YES+ program, encouraging the Tibetan youth to explore the opportunities it offers for personal growth and community engagement. at 2PM, Mrs. Tsering Youdon and Ms. Ngawang Dolkar visited sites for upcoming projects for the financial year 2026\u20132027, accompanied by the Settlement Officer and accountant. They also visited a site related to ongoing land disputes among settlers.<\/p>\n

In the evening, the officials inspected the old age home in the Kollegal settlement.
\nThe official tour of Kollegal Dhondenling successfully concluded on July 7, after which the officials departed for the Hunsur Rabgyaling settlement.<\/p>\n
