Tibetan Association Welfare Society, TAWS, CTA Dharamshala has sanctioned<\/p>\n

INR 3,77,600\/-<\/strong> for the House Renovation for Nyamthak Dechen Dolkar and her family in FY 2025-26.<\/p>\n

Project Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kamrao Tibetan Settlement is located at the hilly area of altitude of 1552m above the sea level and it comes under district Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh. Due to hilly region the settlement is highly prone to cloud burst and landslides.<\/p>\n

Here Mrs. Deachen Dolkar and her husband Pema Sonam\u2019s home are in very poor condition and they are also financially incapable of renovating their home. Her husband is a TB patient and currently going through medication. She is also having health issues and since she comes under poverty, her all medical expenses are given by Dept. of Health (Central Tibetan Administration.)<\/p>\n

CONCLUSION:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The remaining renovation work has significantly improved the safety and longevity of Mrs. Dechen Dolkar\u2019s home, ensuring protection for her and her family during the monsoon season. This project has been immensely successful in relieving the burden of living in an unsafe house, no more raindrops leaking through the roof. They can now stay in their home happily and confidently, without worrying about seasonal problems that previously affected their house and lifestyle. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to TAWS, and CTRC for financing and coordinating this project respectively.<\/p>\n
