The Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education, Bengaluru, served as one of the partner institutions for the event. Prof. Jyothi Venkatesh, Director, Center for Global Languages &amp; Dean, Faculty of Arts, DMSBCU welcome the chief guest and other dignitaries.<\/p>\n<p>The inaugural function was presided over by Prof. Ramesh B, Hon\u2019ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Manmohan Singh Bengaluru City University. The inaugural address was delivered by Prof. Fady Fadel, Dean and Chief Academic Officer of ESAIP Group La Salle, France. Prof. Rajendra Chenni, noted author and professor at Kuvempu University, presented the keynote address.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Jean-Marc Depierre, Director of Alliance Fran\u00e7aise de Bengaluru, and Dr. Michael Heinst, Director of Goethe-Institut\/Max Mueller Bhavan Bengaluru, graced the occasion as Guests of Honour.<\/p>\n<p>In his address, Acharya Jigme Tsultrium emphasized the resilience of the Tibetan struggle, highlighting the vital role of Tibetan language preservation\u2014deeply rooted in Indian philosophical traditions\u2014in sustaining Tibetan culture. He emphasized the importance of language in preserving World peace. Prof. Ramesh in his remark quoted His Holiness the Dalai Lama to emphasize the importance of religious tolerance and harmony.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The two-day conference brings together scholars, practitioners, and students for substantive discussions aimed at fostering global peace through cultural and linguistic understanding. Research papers will be presented in six world languages: English, French, Kannada, German, Spanish, and Tibetan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A total of six presentations in Tibetan will be featured, covering diverse topics related to language, literature, and newsletter content. Dr. Tenzin Pasang, Principal of the Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education, attended the conference and will chair the Tibetan session.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
