Project title: Installation of Street light at E-Village, Hunsur Total Cost of Project: 9,75,744\/- (Rupees Nine Lakh Seventy-Five Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-Four only) Project Location: Hunsur Rabgayling Tibetan Settlement, Karnataka Funded by: Matching Grant (OSSO, funds raised by settlement, The Tibet Fund.) Start of the project: 10th September, 2025 Status: Ongoing<\/p>\n

PROJECT DESCRIPTION & PROGRESS:<\/p>\n

The proposal for the installation of street lights at E-Village, Hunsur Tibetan Settlement, arose because the villagers often go for morning and evening walks to maintain their physical health, and there is a risk of encountering wild animals during those hours. To ensure the safety of the settlers, the installation of street lights around the entire village is essential.<\/p>\n

A total budget of INR 9,75,744\/- was allocated for the street light installation, and a tender process was initiated, through which the contract was ultimately awarded to Mr. Manjunath G. The contract was officially signed on 22nd August 2025, with the expected completion date set for October 2025.The installation of street lights will greatly benefit the villagers by ensuring safer and smoother movement in and around the village, especially during early mornings and late evenings.<\/p>\n
